Brayden's pre-school Halloween Party

10:08 AM Posted by Delaney

All the way back in October, I know I months behind, Bryaden had a party that Renee attended. I know she felt bad because his teacher called shortly after she dropped him off asking if Renee was going to bring his costume back as he was getting "nervous" about not having it.
As attentive as Brayden is he posed wonderfully for his class picture...
Pays attention, sits still, and always does the spider roll.
Spider man and the caterpillar posing for the camera...
Caleb here is pleased as punch that he was able to balance the frosting on his finger. Reminds me of the nursery rhyme "...pulled out his thumb...what a good boy am I..."
Perfectly content after chowing down a cup cake.

the family pumpkin patch

So this year we went to Thompson Farm, we went there last year and we paid 30 bucks for 4 huge pumpkins, unfortunately their prices went up, way up. Now they were asking about 65-70 dollars for the same size ones we bought last year. Ridiculous, anyway on with the photo blog of non sense.
Many people ask why we don't take more family photos. Well here is an illustration of why we don't do it more often. I literally have taken 4 other photos on this particular setting but for your pleasure I kept the "good" ones. So in this one Tyler has his eyes closed, and Brayden is throwing a gang sign...nice.
Take two. Again someone with their eyes closed! Why does someone develop narcolepsy during pictures? Please for the love open your eyes, or so help me the duct tape is coming out again!
Excellent, Caleb is looking at the corn field and Brayden is apparently giving a shout out to the scarecrow. Half of Alex's face is covered by Caleb's mop, but what's this? Tyler's eyes are open? If you all don't sit still I will throw the camera at you!Take 8. A nice lady offers to take our picture with the family. Wow first try for her, what am I doing wrong? Is it the death threats? Is it fun for the kids to make daddy's vein in his forehead pop out? I don't know, but I give up.
Fashion extrodinaire, text guru, and bubbly Alex.
Tyler Pumping it up.
Brayden "they see me rollin'" Christian.
Corney picture from the youngest, I wonder how many insects, rodents and other "things" call this place home? Oh well the kids aren't crying and ther're having fun so I don't care.
This was pretty cool. they had a buch of tricycles set up with a race track. Here you see me walking because I just got done pushing Brayden around the course for what I like to call the Pumpkin Patch 500.
I can't think of a funny story so too bad for you. Just kidding, I'll try and think of one for next time. Instead look at the beautiful pictures ya ingrate!

Brayden's pre-school Pumpkin patch visit

3:02 PM Posted by Delaney

So we started off in the concentration camp area, kids loved that one.
The kids were able to pet most of the animals, although some were suspicious. Here they met the psychotic cow that was possessed by a farmer for the early 1800's.
The look on the kids face after the cow tried to "lick" him was priceless.
Brayden posing on top of the pumpkins.
Once again Brayden hamming it up for the camera.

What's that you ask? Why yes I do have a funny story.
So here in Enumclaw every year the fire fighters drive around town with their ambulance and fire truck with Santa on top. They visit the whole town to have Santa wave and the other fire fighters hand out candy canes to one and all.
The "parade" came through our neighborhood, Tyler happened to miss him due to being over at a friends house.
Alex, Brayden, Caleb and I however were present and we all received a candy cane. The kids gobbled their candy canes down while I hung mine on the tree saving it for Tyler.
Shortly after the "parade" left Tyler came home. Of course he was bummed out not getting to see Santa and receive said candy cane. At this point Brayden piped up and said ( I kid you not)
"Tyler! Tyler! Santa came on a fire truck! He waved to me and the human brought me a candy cane! Dad said you can have his."
This kid and the terms he uses crack me up daily.

Dinner with Uncle Tim and Aunt Heather

Back in Early October we were invited over to dinner at Tim & Heather's house. Some pretty good eats and interesting pictures to say the least. Above is Megan and Hailey, enjoying their time in the limelight.
Little miss Hailey hamming it up for the camera...
Uncle Matt hard at work...
Hailey looks like she got caught red handed...not sure of what yet.
Aunt Weesah getting her time in with Hailey, she must of snuggled her shoulder for a good 1/2 hour.
Don't worry this is a mega post no need to protest!
I love this picture. Collin has this look on his face as if he doesn't really believe what his dad is reading to him.
Caleb, in a much better mood.
Andrew on lock down.
Synchronized floor routine, proudly brought to you by Megan and Brayden.

And now for a short story, that well is funny to me but not something I should have laughed at.
The other week Brayden approached myself and Alex. He was carrying around Tyler's ipod with solitaire running. He asked me if I could play it for him, but I declined. Alex piped up and asked if she could play it with/for him. Brayden being inquisitive asked if she was any good. The following conversation took place;
Alex: Of course I am, I very good.
Brayden: Better than Tyler?
Alex: Yes.
Brayden: Better than Mommy?
Alex: Yes.
Brayden: Better than Daddy?
Alex: Well, maybe not as good as Dad.
Brayden: So Daddy can beat you?
Alex: Well I guess, yeah.
Brayden: So your a loser!
I died, he seemed to have set her up from the beginning.

Tyler's belated Bday

1:13 PM Posted by Delaney

So we ended up having Tyler's birthday party in October. From several reason's of football and cheer it always seemed to be getting pushed back further and further. Ah well I think he had a lot of fun that day. here he is with his "special" hat.
Randomly develops narcolepsy...again
Here his friends decided to help him eat his cake, or maybe the narcolepsy...I don't know.
His cake, why yes that is an entire bag of M & M's. Low fat of course.

Don't worry I will post again very soon this time. I have lots of pics from October. I love his WT shirt, I think he does it on purpose. Imagine when he get's even more upset and takes a swing at his mom. Ahhh if we only lived in a trailer...

The Explanation

3:09 PM Posted by Delaney

Well in my last post I posted a few unflattering pics of the kids. I guess one would reserve those for the shredder but alas I always find a use for all.
So the story goes...
We were on our way to a family birthday party for my side of the family. Renee thought it would be nice if we could stop at a park somewhere and take few pictures for grandma and great-grandma.
And then it started with this...
First Caleb was not feeling well and we drug him out of the car anyway. Smile!
Then we decided to take Caleb out all together, maybe just the three...
Tyler:"But mom I am hungry!"
Ohhhh look at this priceless pic. So cute, I wish all picture safari's went this well.
Here is the next try after some rather encouraging words to let them know that this is supposed to be a present for the Grandma's.
And now finally we have reached defcon 5. Tyler has developed narcolepsy, Brayden has developed epilepsy, Alex is trying to burn a hole in the camera with her eyes and Caleb well I think he's just pissed.
However my wife's toe is hot!

Getting even...

It's fun being a parent but not neccesarrily an adult...
Time for some photos that should be great enough to embarrass the best of them.Brayden: I'm crushing your head, crushing, crushing
Alex and her friend Mia; yeah cool...
Oh did you "borrow" the camera? Yeah, cool.
That's hot, I hope tons of boys see this...
For those out there wondering
"Gee what would make a father post such degrading pics on the internet that ruin-my-life-make me-want-to-jump-into-a-valcano-rip-my-toenails-out-with-a-pair-of-pliers type of pics?"
Well just check out the next post....

More pics to satisfy the natives

I found some more pics from the family birthday and a picture of Alex and Tyler's first day of school.Uncle Matt, Tyler and Mollie. Amazing a three for one; Uncle Matt smiling, Tyler with a shirt on and Mollie sitting still for a pic.
Andrew, always keeping an eye out ;-)
Brayden looking like he got caught red handed eating something he should not.
Caleb here (I think) is upset Brayden opened his present. His mannerisms and facial expressions crack me up.
Alex and Tyler on their first day of school. I am trying to find out why kids get up so early for their first day of school and get all put together. It's funny how they then realize by day two it is no different then all of last year and it's right back to getting ready and out the door in five minutes. Oh well I do the same for work...

Funny story
So I know I haven't shared in a while but to be honest only the really funny ones make it on here. At the risk of embarrassment for myself I'll share this one.
So I was watching some cartoons with the kids down stairs and I let one rip (nothing new there) and Brayden happened to come running into the room and jumped on my lap. Of course with my sick humor I was patiently waiting to see how long it took him to smell the rotten deed that had just occurred. After a moment he turns around and says ( I kid you not)
"Dad you stink! You smell like a rotten BBQ'd sandwich!"
I laughed so hard I thought I was going to die.

Another kewl blog

These pics are from the Family birthday not long ago. I know this is a quick one with not much commentary, but I promise the next will return to old form.
Around our house you ain't kewl unless the sun always shinesMr. Caleb with his stunna shades.
Aunt Wee-sah with little miss Mollie...
Uncle Matt with miss Mollie (I think)
Miss Megan with Hailey

All the kids minus the triplets, I'd be happy too with all those presents.
