Brayden's pre-school Halloween Party

All the way back in October, I know I months behind, Bryaden had a party that Renee attended. I know she felt bad because his teacher called shortly after she dropped him off asking if Renee was going to bring his costume back as he was getting "nervous" about not having it.
As attentive as Brayden is he posed wonderfully for his class picture...
Pays attention, sits still, and always does the spider roll.
Spider man and the caterpillar posing for the camera...
Caleb here is pleased as punch that he was able to balance the frosting on his finger. Reminds me of the nursery rhyme "...pulled out his thumb...what a good boy am I..."
Perfectly content after chowing down a cup cake.

the family pumpkin patch

So this year we went to Thompson Farm, we went there last year and we paid 30 bucks for 4 huge pumpkins, unfortunately their prices went up, way up. Now they were asking about 65-70 dollars for the same size ones we bought last year. Ridiculous, anyway on with the photo blog of non sense.
Many people ask why we don't take more family photos. Well here is an illustration of why we don't do it more often. I literally have taken 4 other photos on this particular setting but for your pleasure I kept the "good" ones. So in this one Tyler has his eyes closed, and Brayden is throwing a gang sign...nice.
Take two. Again someone with their eyes closed! Why does someone develop narcolepsy during pictures? Please for the love open your eyes, or so help me the duct tape is coming out again!
Excellent, Caleb is looking at the corn field and Brayden is apparently giving a shout out to the scarecrow. Half of Alex's face is covered by Caleb's mop, but what's this? Tyler's eyes are open? If you all don't sit still I will throw the camera at you!Take 8. A nice lady offers to take our picture with the family. Wow first try for her, what am I doing wrong? Is it the death threats? Is it fun for the kids to make daddy's vein in his forehead pop out? I don't know, but I give up.
Fashion extrodinaire, text guru, and bubbly Alex.
Tyler Pumping it up.
Brayden "they see me rollin'" Christian.
Corney picture from the youngest, I wonder how many insects, rodents and other "things" call this place home? Oh well the kids aren't crying and ther're having fun so I don't care.
This was pretty cool. they had a buch of tricycles set up with a race track. Here you see me walking because I just got done pushing Brayden around the course for what I like to call the Pumpkin Patch 500.
I can't think of a funny story so too bad for you. Just kidding, I'll try and think of one for next time. Instead look at the beautiful pictures ya ingrate!

Brayden's pre-school Pumpkin patch visit

So we started off in the concentration camp area, kids loved that one.
The kids were able to pet most of the animals, although some were suspicious. Here they met the psychotic cow that was possessed by a farmer for the early 1800's.
The look on the kids face after the cow tried to "lick" him was priceless.
Brayden posing on top of the pumpkins.
Once again Brayden hamming it up for the camera.

What's that you ask? Why yes I do have a funny story.
So here in Enumclaw every year the fire fighters drive around town with their ambulance and fire truck with Santa on top. They visit the whole town to have Santa wave and the other fire fighters hand out candy canes to one and all.
The "parade" came through our neighborhood, Tyler happened to miss him due to being over at a friends house.
Alex, Brayden, Caleb and I however were present and we all received a candy cane. The kids gobbled their candy canes down while I hung mine on the tree saving it for Tyler.
Shortly after the "parade" left Tyler came home. Of course he was bummed out not getting to see Santa and receive said candy cane. At this point Brayden piped up and said ( I kid you not)
"Tyler! Tyler! Santa came on a fire truck! He waved to me and the human brought me a candy cane! Dad said you can have his."
This kid and the terms he uses crack me up daily.
